PDF File Submission

Portable Document Files (PDFs) are software and platform independent. Therefore by converting your files into PDF format we can print your documents and you can feel confident that it will print as you intended.

Note: you will need the Adobe Acrobat program, not the reader, in order to create PDFs from other file types.

When converting your file to PDF, please ensure you
Use Adobe Acrobat Distiller 3.0 or later.
• Unlock files created from Adobe Acrobat Exchange.
Please specify the following settings in the General and Compression Sections of the Job Options Dialog box:

In the General section of the Job Options dialog box:

• Choose compatibility with Acrobat 3.0.
• Create PDF files in ASCII format.
• Set the default resolution to 2540 dpi.

In the Compression section of the Job Options dialog box:

• Compress text and line art.
• Use automatic compression for color and grayscale bitmap images.
• Use ZIP/JPEG Low.
• Use CCITT Group 4.
• Do not downsample imagesIn the Font Embedding section of the Job Options   dialog box:
• Embed all fonts but avoid subsetting fonts.
  In the Advanced section of the Job Options dialog box:
• Spot colors must be included. Checking "Distill with prologue.ps/epilogue.ps."
• Do not check "Convert CMYK Images to RGB."
• Do not "Preserve OPI Comments."
• Check "Preserve Overprint Settings."
• Check "Preserve Halftone Screen Information."
• Choose "Remove Transfer Functions."
• Choose "Remove Under Color Removal/Black Generation."
• Choose "Unchanged" for color conversion.
