WEB
Our
Web design and development team works with you to make your Web site vision
into a reality through a 5-step process.
- Your
vision. We start with your ideas, digital files, photos and materials
to create a Web site according to your goals.
- Your
needs. We guide you through the site design process with complete
project management, defining project scope, budget and timeline, and
following a cost-effective plan for developing your site from beginning
to end.
- Implementation.
Professionally trained in Web site usability, we will design your Web
site with a navigation scheme that allows clear information flow and
orientation.
- We
keep maintenance in mind, keeping your ongoing costs to a minimum.
We build a clearly organized site structure, or "architecture" to
simplify updating the site in the future. If you wish, we create
templates and styles to assure design consistency during updates.
- We
assure quality in design. Polished graphics reflect the stature
of the University academic departments, research affiliations, and
medical programs and clinics.
- We
build functionality into your sites. We provide specialized
Web programming, such as database connectivity, secured online record-keeping,
forms and surveys, as part of our one-stop service.
- We
work responsibly. We write clean html without the use of proprietary
tags that may restrict cross-browser compatibility. We advise clients
on federal accessibility guidelines according to W3C standards.
- Feedback.
Once the site is in development, it will be posted online privately
for you to see from your office. We can communicate by email, by phone,
and in person - whatever is most convenient for you.
- Production.
Finally, we procure your URL and register your site with search engines.
For sites that we develop inhouse, we offer hosting on our Web servers.
Whether
you need to update, redesign, or build a new site from scratch, we can
offer you a one-stop, one-meeting service to meet your Web needs.
